I have a wordpress site and I have a plugin to retrieve articles via RSS and post them automatically. Is this bad for SEO?

I would call it a waste of time more than anything else. Google shoves copied content (even curated and RSS content) into its supplemental index, so no one would ever find your website with your post's keywords. You have to remember the goal of SEO is to be found. So you don't want to purposefully do anything that will cause you NOT to be found.

Alright, I am new to SEO and I want to start working on a website for tech. Got a good domain (its new) but I think it might have some potential.

What are you thoughts on articles that are ran through WordAI?

I understand you want to build this website quickly, but automation can only provide so much value. You best approach is to develop content at a human rate (not a machine rate) since the output will (hopefully) be valuable and something that Google approves.

AFAIK, most blackhatters use WordAI to rewrite other people's content. That's plagiarism and it's also something that Google knows how to recognize (and also shove into its supplemental results).

That's not what you want to hear.

I know.

But it's the truth.

To rank your website high -- or even at all these days -- you've got to play by the rules.

So look into outsourcing content development if you don't want to be bothered with it, and you want to focus on something else. A lot of people do that, and if the content is good, they're rewarded with a permanent residence in search engines. If you want more control over the way your content is developed, however, and you still want to get it done quickly, I can point you to a resource for that. Just send me a PM.

Dude you should remember this when it comes toSEO and internet marketing.

Copying content = plagiarism.

Plagiarism = bad.

So, don't copy content and don't waste your time doing so. Instead of copied content, why not try to be original.

Thanks for the information. I just see some tech blogs posting daily and even multiple times a day with content. I thought that it is better to do it like that. I am just looking for any sort of tips for a beginner on how to do this the best way. Thanks for your feedback!

JOSourcing, I can't PM as I don't have 15 posts yet.

Google don't recommend copying contents. They always look for your unique identity to rank your site. So don't ever try to make use of copied contents.

Spinning the content would be your only chance to do this, the only problem is that most spinners suck balls if not manually reviewed, you could also hire a VA to do some editing.

Copying content will be bad.You will get google penality if you copy content.
So you can make a unique content to your site it will help you to make a good ranking.

Your best bet is to write two weeks worth of articles in one sitting and set them up for scheduled posting. Continue on that path and with some social media & a diverse link profile, you will not fail.

Well it does not seem to be very seo pleasing

Never copy content. Even the method that you described is bad!

Pictures are the only type of content you can use without worrying about too much.

If your script has auto watermarking features you won't have to worry about uniqueness and can either download them or post them on image sharing sites.

Although copied content can be monetized, it cannot be ranked too easily as compared to the days I started my online adventures.

But still many of the autoblogging websites running in the web and most of the autoblogging sites earn money (Very less $3-$5/day).
Black hat peoples says still the crappy content works fine for us.

Thoughts?

Don't use copy content , Google really hates duplicate content and also don't like Spam.

This. Copying content can also actually get you into trouble. One of my friends is going bancrupt over it.

It is always best to use fresh and plagiarism free contents for blogs, once publish share it via social media networks and do some seo tricks to get traffic quickly.

Make the content by own or with some quality writers that can be 100% unique, 0 grammatical error, plagiarism free content and some infographics. it would help you to get traffic for the site.

Write your own content. Copying is bad for your site ranking.
