Can you completely copy someone else's Shopify one product store, (desgin, pics, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Tos.

Is it okay? they can't copyright/ do something with the product right since they are dropshipping it from aliexpress/alibaba

help appreciated, I'm testing the waters in this area didn't wanna spend a lot of time and money in designing site before trying it out for a bit to see if it is worth it

Why do you want to copy 1:1?

I am sure this store is not perfect, no one is perfect so you can make a better one quite fast.

hey thanks for the reply, I've noticed I'm pretty bad at designing clean-looking online stores, even though it is only a one-product store I feel like my designs don't have the clean look I'm looking for, P.S know this really doesn't justify copying someone else

If you run for seo you will have problem if you want to do ads i don't think coz google hate duplicate content

hey, i was t planning on ranking the site at least at first, I'm gonna run more ads, youtube, tiktok etc..

Honestly, that store has probably already been copied by someone else, and even the original store itself should not use a 100% original description/refund policy. These dropshipping stores are just copy-paste from others, few bother to do something original and professional.

There will be no copyright problems, unless on very rare and unusual situations

Yes, you can copy, but do not copy the product description(s) word for word : make your product description(s) unique (by rephrasing, etc).

You should hire someone to do your website design.

Copy the layout. Source your own images. Write your own text using the other for inspiration.

We do dropship ecom and have filed DMCA from dropshippers stealing our original images and content. If it's a manufacturer photo then you can use it. If someone ordered the product and had a photographer shoot it (which you should actually be doing), then they will try to get you to take it down. Are you gonna get sued over it? Probably not, but who wants that headache anyway?

If you are trying to do a super low effort attempt at ecom this early in the game, maybe it's not the best thing for you to be into. Ecom is hard. It's not like put up a store, collect internet monies, retire on beach, like the 17 year old millionaires on Youtube are telling you. If you think you're gonna copy some sh*tty dropship website and cash in, you are wrong.

Look to real brands for inspiration. Look at brands that someone actually invested money in and then use their layout for inspiration. The stereotypical dropship style website likely won't work. You don't need a masterpiece or an award winning design, but just a website that has all the info the customer needs, is easy to navigate, easy to read, clear/concise CTA, etc. Focus on usability over fancy design. Good luck!

There's an app called KOPY. Install it and you can copy your competitors product page exactly
