copy a flash banner?

I think you need to have the source file which will then compile into flash thingy you see on websites. Though i think there is some softwares for decompiling those.
In the other hand i Used some HG template and removed some things from the flash files.
But you can find the actual file in pages source code and then try open it with some flash editor and see what happends

I personally have not had great success with these "Decompilers" but they are out there. You do however need the source(.fla) file as well as flash 8+ to create the new file(swf). You can grab a swf file off of a website by viewing the pages source code just as antsaoo said.
yes there is.. as they say you can rip the original banner first with a flash DECOMPILER once, you had done that your banner should be in .fla format. This format it editable with flash editors. You can use these handy tools :
1.Sothink SWF Decompiler - for the ripping the banner
2. Swish Max - for the flash editor, I personally use this since it is really easy to use even if you don't know how to edit flash.
you can also use a portable ADOBE FLASH for advance editing.

why dont you just get the *swf file, or whateva kind of format the banner is in,
open up flash 8 > import to stage > click swf file> and then create a new layer (this will be your layer you put in your own websites url, and then paste it over the other one (as long as your editing layer is on top of the original source, it will be pasted over (similiar to photoshop) )
