Cops

Oh chill the hell down - the thread started on about cops, a show you can watch when you want to put your brain on hold and enjoy the downtime. If I wanted to start getting involved in the human rights bollocks that the world finds itself in now-a-days I would of turned on the politics channel.

I love watching cops and all the UK equivalents, its brainless TV that passes 30 minutes or an hour.

At a guess 99% of the police do their job and do it well. They deserve to be armed and have tasers etc in this day and age with the scum that roams the world. There will be the odd 1% that think they themselves are above the law but you get that in every occupation.......

Take a chill pill, grab a beer and watch the show for what it is.....a bit of real life 'entertainment'.

In england there are daily so many laws broken by the police and dumb citizens are just watching instead of taking action and protect the rights of the people and why?Because they think its normal thanks to these kind of shows.

Dumb citizens, as you call them, do not take part in anything for one may reason: the sue-you culture that was bred in America and is now unfortunately coming across the pond. Its not normal, and the ones that think it are need their own reality check. I have been (wrongly) arrested in the past and to be honest shit happens. I was mad at the time, but to be honest it was a bit of a set up so they had no choice. I even walked myself to the station to get the paperwork done so I think I know how police in my own country works.

He has a weapon ,he needs to be taken down instantly because he is a threat...........ohhh but that carrying an AR15 openly is legal thats not important anymore.

Shows how much you know of UK law then - the UK has some of the tightest controls (maybe the tightest?) in the world. If you are stopped and can show you are licensed then you are fine.

But yeah take the guns away so police can protect you better......keep beliving in bs and let your brain get fucked with bs.

Who has said take guns away from people, maybe idiots, minors and those who have criminal records but everyone is entitled to have a gun. In fact, I am trying to persuade my wife to let me apply for a license!

To me, you sound like one of the people who cannot distinguish between what happens on TV and what happens in real life. Heaven forbid you play something like GTA on a console, you would probably take the coders to task over the behaviour of the police on there as well.

Don't judge every person and every country on you and the country you live in......and please stop watching TV and get some fresh air in what ever police controlled state you think you live in.

Not sure where you live GST but Cops is still on in repeats here on the west coast with Uverse. Probably 5 or 6 nights a week. I think it's on G4 network or something. Funny you posted this coz I've been watching them for the past few weeks. Crazy when you see some repeat from 1997 or something.
But I also think I just read that it's going to be on Sat nights on G4 with new episodes this fall.

i hate anything to do with them creatures, i wish there was a program where they show what happens to them when they are drunk on a night out and getting their asses kicked by bouncers.

That wasn't a police officer that was a security guard. There is a reason he wasn't a police officer and that video is probably proof of why he couldn't become a police officer.

I read it in one of the comments that he was a security guard for the store, whether it was a cop or a security guard, the person was still trespassing, it wasn't because he was drinking ice tea.

It is private property, if the security guard that works for the store tells the person to leave, they have to leave.
