That kid was in the media all the way from London to Los Angeles.
He was practically on tour like a rock band.
If you dig thru that site there used to be a diary of how he did it.
It definitely was not a case of a clever teenager working alone.

too bad she turned down a 1.5 million dollar offer from myspace. Now her site is getting shit traffic, and isnt making nearly what it used to.

Making a duplicate site wouldn't have done anything for her. All the marketing and branding was done for the original site...that is what the $1.5million was for, not the concept. I would have sold it in a heartbeat!

I remember seeing that interview on CNN a couple of years ago. I was blown away by it and it made me want to get into IM. I thought if a 15 year old can do it why can't I???
