Cool Down Period for IG

What is the cool down period for IG to change email and username. After buying and login from a new location?

Recently I got a message saying this operation is not allowed because I've logged in from a new device while I was trying to change email.
I was able to change the password. did not try to change the username.

There shouldn’t be a cool down period for changing username but there will be one for changing the email. A rough estimate to as how long it will take to change the email, that is roughly between 3-5 days. It is suggested to do normal activity such as scrolling to ensure that instagram knows your a real person and not a bot account.

After 60 hours still receiving the following message
"You can't access certain settings for a few days: This is because we noticed a new login from a device you don't usually use. You can still access these settings from a device you've logged in with in the past"

Try after 7-14 days, and then check.
