Is there a way that when someone visit's my site, it puts a cookie on their computer that will replace an existing one? What I mean is, I am an affiliate for a company and when someone visit's my ref link it puts a cookie on their computer. I'd like for my cookie to overtake an existing cookie in case they've already visited somebody's ref link.

Sorry, cookie stuffing discussion is off limits these days. If you mean they click your link and it overwrites the old cookie, it tends not to happen unless the cookie had expired (from what I can tell)

Ah, ok. Sorry, I wasn't aware that it is something we shouldn't talk about. But ya, I'm wondering if there's a way to overwrite the old cookie. Thanks.

I believe over riding an existing cookie can be done if the request originates from the source site. I'm not sure if you could via another site due to browser security settings.
