I acquired a very nice expired domain for my PBN about 2 weeks and put 2 articles related to different niches. Yesterday, I found a very good product related to that website. Since there is a lot of talk about money website put into wait period, I was thinking for converting that PBN website into moneysite. Do you guy have any experience with it? I have used expired domains directly as money site but never have used a PBN as money site. What do you advice?

Thanks

Any advice of opinion about this, I have used expired domains as moneysite a couple of times to rank different keywords but never reused an expired domain after including it in my PBN. Those 2 articles are already indexed. This domain I am talking about has pretty impressive metrics.

The only potential issue will arise if any of your sites (money site or sites in PBN) share some footprint. For e.g. if you are using adsense on your money site, do not use the same adsense account on any of your PBN sites. (same goes for analytics etc).

Technically, if you are using adsense on your moneysite and you want to use some affiliate links on the PBN site, then as long as you are not using those same affiliate links on any other website in your PBN (or money sites), you should be fine.

I would still be wary of monetizing a PBN like this, because one silly mistake might cost you all the effort you put into making your PBN.

if you pull out that one domain from your pbn it would be ok. however, I just try to imagine what could go
wrong if you would let it in the pbn...

so, you simply want to monetize that site and also build backlinks, I guess

Why not do both? If the way you're monetizing the sites has no link to each other, ie the product/affiliate link is not on both sites then it shouldn't be a problem right? The plus side to this is you can still use it as part of your PBN and the site will look like a real site.
