Folks, how do you convert cold email leads into a warm or engaged email list audience? Any methods you follow or hints and tips?

I thought we left cold emailing back in the early 2000s? Does still stuff still work?

Pretty sure it happens everywhere every day. Some of the best people I have met in business come from dropping someone a cold email or reconnecting with an old customer...

Hi dude...put a eye catching subject line,Get the email, chase cutting and keep make it personal...Those things are useful to converting cold email list....

he first and most important thing you should take care of is your domain settings & reputation.

Email marketing is the No.1 reason for having domains blacklisted. Scary? Not when you know what to do and how to do it. If you had already sent a lot of cold emails or newsletters, especially using bought email lists to do it, your domain is probably blacklisted. What does it mean? Your emails will end up in SPAM folders or won’t be delivered at all. There is no point of sending emails that no one will ever receive.

If your domain’s results are good that’s awesome, but we still recommend to create a new domain specifically for cold mailing purposes (it’s useful also when you’re sending newsletters).

It’s important to make sure emails from your domain will be delivered to your customers and co-workers. When a lot of people you cold-mailed will mark your messages as SPAM, you may easily get branded as a spammer for long, which will cause serious issues in everyday online communication.

It’s also important to remember about a redirection to your site, as you need to make sure people will find the right company, not your competitor with a similar company name.

What if you found out about problems with your domain settings?

The most important elements to authenticate your domain are SPF and DKIM records. They prove that email you send isn’t forged and increase its credibility. I will tell you about them and explain how to set them up and resolve existing problems. The validation of those changes usually takes up to 2 days.

What if I’m blacklisted?

This is a bigger problem – if your domain is on a blacklist it means that you are already marked as a spammer for a lot of providers. Every blacklist has its own website and the information on how to be removed from it. Simply follow the instructions and your domain should regain its credibility.

Sometimes you may see yourself on a blacklist but it will finally turn out that you’re really not. Sounds a little confusing but it may happen when your internet service provider’s IP is blacklisted. There is nothing you can do in this case, but don’t worry. For example, gmail assigns IPs randomly and changes them often.

Cold mailing can be very useful, but you have to know how to do it right. Being blacklisted always means a lot of problems, so you have to do everything to avoid it. Don’t forget any of the tips from this guide, because you will get the best results when you use them all.

You first need to pick a generic offer, then segment the list into those that open, those that click through and those that purchase/sign up etc.

That way you can use spam emails to build more tergeted lists and it will be those lists you will make real money from.
