Conversion Tracking on Adword/Adsense Sites

Could someone please help with a way to track conversions when running Adwords to generate traffic to a site running Adsense ?
The account is running well but needs some refinement to try to optimise the ROI but unsure how to setup the Conversion tracking as I have no Product/sales page that I can add the tracking code to. Can someone suggest how I might achieve this please?

In order to track conversions, what do you want to exactly track? if you have a product which you sell online and you currently do not have a thank you page, then I suggest make one thank you page and put the code there, and if you want to see the general traffic of your website, put Google analytics code on each page of your website, it can track the sources of traffic like (PPC, SEO, Social Media) and everything.

Thanks for the reply. What I am trying to do is track the conversion of someone who has arrived at my content site and then clicked one of the AdSense Ads that are displayed throughout my site. Currently using Adwords to generate traffic to my site so looking to enable Adwords Conversion Tracking but don't don't know how to incorporate the code as their is no thankyou page just AdSense code on the landing page.

You should take care with Adsense/Adwords arbitrage, it's not 100% safe.

As far as i'm aware, you can track, if a user has clicked or not on your website, but usually the script cannot track if the user has clicked on adsense ad or clicked on a link or anywhere on the page, maybe you need to develop a custom script.

However as said by bartosimpsonio's, make sure that you are not violating any Adword/Adsense policies because it may turn to a permanent suspension for any or both of these accounts so better avoid the arbitrage.

The website that I have has deep information content related to that niche and Google has on several occasions help with ad campaign management and manual add approval so they are happy that this site is not for the pure purpose of Arbitrary; however, 50% of the traffic is unique and is generated by new clicks each day which in turn is converting well. I do understand the point you are making though but thought someone here may have something setup that I could leverage to track this type of traffic. What I might have to do is calculate the average CPC for income generated by AdSense and (other sources of income ) and then determine the max CPC for my Adwords to ensure I get the ROI that I am looking for.
