Hey blackhatters.
I have a question regarding web site conversion. I am going to do a direct marketing campaign that features a multi step door hanger scheme.
I will do a door hanger drop to a large amount of homes in my target market, I will direct them to go to my web site and read the special free report of beneficial info for them that regards their home along with at the same time promoting my services ON the door hangers. The door hangers will be different each time and also the special reports will be different each time..
So my question is, say.. hypothetically 50k people worth of traffic come to the site .. Could I convert say.. 10 percent of them? Or is that too high of a number? Because most conversion rate articles and info that i have read RELATE to ecommerce or people finding your site on SEO and say 1-3% is the average.
However, what if they saw the direct marketing material, went to the site THEMSELVES with a motive of reading a special report/looking up my specific company.. what would the conversion rate range be? COULD it be 10% or is that too high?
PS: I am targeting my market correctly and also combining it with professional copy writing and design services.
Can't wait to hear your expertise.
