Most of the email will hit the spam box if you're using a free email server like gmail. Even with aweber it'd be a good idea to do testing (i.e emailing to your own throwaway gmail, hotmail, yahoo, aol etc) to make sure you're getting through.

Although they're not easy to find I'd consider in hunting for a commission telemarketer and offer them 25% of each cold call they close.

If this dosen't work I'd consider incentives something similar to myself such as free lead generation/revshare for a limited time. THIS WORKS. Trust me, Im getting badgered to no end. :)

What is your swipe copy? What are your prospects thinking of? Have you done your research at all for the psychology used for selling to this target niche? If not, then don't bother. It's not simple copy write, your CONVERSION is based off how well the sales copy addresses the target prospect. Sorry but my honest opinion is that you first need to study what these people want, motives, lifestyles, businesses, etc and know WHY they buy, WHEN they buy, HOW they buy. The real motives that cause the benefits of satisfaction and instant gratification. You also need to research the niche itself. Who advertised? Why? Did their sales copy work or did it create jaded people? Where buyers satisfied with it or did it fall short of expectations?

I could go on but I'm tired, the best advice I offer you is to pick up a sales copy book, learn English with Rosetta stone, and go make some money applying what you learned.

Do you mind going into a little bit more detail about the types of incentive deals you're offering?

First thing to do is forget about Wix. You need to go with WordPress because of the versatility of plug ins.

I hate to read responses like these, to certain ears this can totally crush your ideas and be a real setback. don't listen to this or anything else that will plant seeds of doubt for you.

Part of what I do includes upgrading websites for local businesses and i'll tell you right now, a lot of people think this might be a saturated market but theres HUGE business in it. Tons of crappy websites out there and business owners who will throw their money at you to make their site look better if the price is right. your price is more then right.

Heres some advice if your really looking to make some bank with what you have in mind.

Finding businesses with crappy websites and offering to upgrade it is a good plan if you have an easy way to find a lot of businesses with crappy websites in large volume because conversion rates at the end of the day is a numbers game. Unless your sales copy is great just assume that 1 out of every 20 will buy. test those numbers and adjust conversion average rate accordingly but the most important thing here is that you took action to even figure out, instead of letting doubters stop you before you even got to figure that out.

What I would suggest if your looking for high conversion rate, download niche appropriate wordpress or whatever templates, Dentist, Lawyer, Construction, Doctor, etc.. simple generic professional looking themes and all you do is find businesses without websites already and just plug in that businesses website in template(logo, business name, address) to give the idea of an actual business. and contact that business after you install all of their content and let them know simply "their sight is ready".

Your not comfortable with getting on the phone, fine, hire someone on fiver or odesk to write you a short 2 paragraph letter explaining their website is ready. Go on manta and get that business contact information if you dont have email contact. In fact, getting creative with how you propose the site can drastically improve conversion rate. Send the owner a physical mail packet explaining their site is %90 complete and provide link "yourwebsite.com/clientsbusiness" and let them know it will be finalized upon their payment.

Best of luck, and if this is an area of your interest, you can easily succeed if its something you are serious and take action with. This is an old but very well still alive.

I have a lead generation system that generates leads for a local niche. I offer clients free leads on an "honors system" Once the first lead converts they agree to percentage of their commission. This develops a good relationship to upsell or manage a business and optin site and begin charging per real time lead. Lead generation is just as important as reputation management and in my experience an easier pitch.
