I'm curios whether anyone can tell me what the conversion rate for an affiliate site has been in their experience.
The deal is that I have a site with around 20 pages of related content, with banners promoting a health care related product, and the landing page is basically an article about the product with a link. The rest of the content is articles and other product reviews.
So this far I get around 300 uniques a day, half targeted traffic(sent), half organic(google and backlinks.) and I've had around 50 - 60 hops in 2 days and no conversion. The reason why I'm asking this is because I want to know whether I need to work on more traffic(more traffic = bigger conversion) or I'm just doing something wrong, or maybe it's just variance.
Also, perhaps this might be helpful - in 54 hops, there are 29 order form impressions and no sale.
