STEPS TO TRANSFER THE SITE FROM STATIC TO WORDPRESS:
    1. Install WP in a subdirectory
    2. Create posts and pages
    3. Install plugins and make sure that the site is running fine
    4. Log into Cpanel and Move WP to the root directory
    5. Use PhpMyAdmin to edit the urls that need to be edited. That is, remove the now defunct subdirectory where WP was installed from the urls.

IS THAT ALL OR ANY FURTHER STEPS ARE REQUIRED TO TRANSFER THE SITE..IF YES..PLEASE SHARE THOSE STEPS GUYS,
    THANKS,

I am really not following this... Building a Wordpress site is easy if you know what you are doing but not if you follow that 6 step plan!

    1. Setup your wordpress blog
    2. Enable XMLRPC
    3. Write PHP scraper to scrape your own HTML site :)
    4. Let the scraper post (while scraping ) to your wordpress blog via XMLRPC

That's the EASIEST way to convert from static html to wordpress!

    No it's not, wtf?

The "easiest" way is to copy and paste manually into a new wordpress site, unless you have thousands of pages, then yea maybe scrape it, but anyone with a static HTML site probably has very few pages.

    web genius, you need to

    1. first use the simple 1-click install for wordpress in your cpanel account
    2. next, build a "theme" out of your HTML site template.

If that seems too difficult for you, PM me with your site URL for a quote, this is something I literally do every day.

Instal xampp. Set up wordpress localy until you're happy. Export local data and throw it up to your server.
