Controlling reviews

Hi there, have a local business and have one competitor who is playing some nasty idiotic games. We are barely competitors (we do it better) and they are just trying to pilfer people from us with bad reviews... They look very out of place in a sea of good ones. Can google fix this?

Google probably won't fix it directly, but reporting them and burying those fake reviews with genuine customer love might be your best bet.
