contradicting seo analysis between different softwares

Hi all, first off i'll tell you that i have for the past 5 years or so soley used IBP for my seo analysis and optimization suggestions.

Since discovering the BHW forum i have a plethora of tools on my pc and they all seem to contradict each other.

I realise that no one application is going to be 100% on the money when it comes to on page seo, which is why i chose to analise my pages with different softwares, however the varying degree of discrepancies between the different softwares has me a little bewildered.

I'm intrested to know your thoughts on the matter or if anyone else has had a similar dilema.

Don't spend too much time on on-site SEO as it's in my expereience almost entirely off-site seo that counts.

What you need to pay attention to are:
H Tags
Title Tag
Link title tag
IMG Alt tags
Meta Description <-- No Seo value but, you can optimize your SERP CTR

Ignore:
Meta Keywords

As for keyword density... Focus more on a natural flow rather than over stuffing your content.

I find that IBP works real well, and if you are now using it for 5 years, your $$$ account is proof of that.

Where I find IBP wonderful is in the structure and format. it forces you to be disciplined.

as for the other comment of off site seo, that's another issue entirely.

as for the tools, yes, they are all with different focus's, so you really need to think and test to see if there are improvements utilizing other tools.

I happen to be old school, so let me tell you some of the steps I use. first I like to create a site and test it with a checker to make sure I wont spill any errors.
then I use a check list to confirm I am using the proper keywords for a specific page.
once that's done. run IBP over it to see where the weakness are.

fix them

then start submitting them. before long, google will come around, sandbox you and you'll sit in hell for about 1 to 3 months. while it's in sandbox, get your off site seo rocking.

And one more important factor: pages URL, your keywords should include in the URL once.

Thanks for all your replies people, i'm probably just doing my own nut in by cross-referencing the different reports. I guess i'll stick with what i know, which is IBP.
