Hello to the whole community,
I wanted to share with you the difficult situation I am in.

Since 2013 I have been working on the growth of my website in the pet niche: https://3o8e.short.gy/OR0Wme

But for two years now I've been constantly losing organic traffic:

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to improve the situation.

Any of your advice is welcome. The project is also a major source of income for my family.

thank you!
Ivan

A drop in organic traffic can be caused by many factors, including a drop in rankings, changes made to your website, changing relevance for your content, or Google updates.

SEO is a never-ending process, so you need to constantly stay updated with what google does / are asking of you and to adapt to their new implementations.

Since your performance has been continuously dropping for 2 years I think you've been affected by the many updates that google have rolled out like crazily lately.

I obviously can't know the reasons for which your site has been going downhill until I audit it but I'm not gonna do that (I don't offer SEO consultancy), so I will only have to guess that it's one of these reasons:

- thin content (your articles are too short and / or you are having too little content on your site and - while this might have worked well in the past - it's typically not true anymore)
- devalued backlinks (in an ongoing effort for google to combat link builders they continue devaluing links that are free, easy to get, or both. This has happened continuously for the last 10-15 years with article directories, bookmarks, wiki links, and more recently with web 2.0s and profile links). So, if I were to guess I'd say that this is the reason for the constant downgrade of your site's performance, this really looks like your backlinks have lost its value and, as a consequence, your traffic and rankings have dropped as well
- your competition has outranked you with better content and / or better backlinks
