Continue this channel or start new ?

So i started this channel last year , doing some livestreams. Livestream audience is decent but my videos views never go more than my subs. No matter tag or which i try.

Its a gaming channel. Also inbetween due to sickness i havent done streams in between somedays. So is that affecting my channel ?

Channel subs is around 400. Is my channel done or it can recover if i keep trying ?

Start new with what? If it’s a different niche, then sure, go for it. If you’re going to be doing the same sort of content, it’d be better to stick to channel.
 
Stick to this channel. Try to improve your thumbs and Titles to get better CTR
 
Following rules might help.

1. It all starts with consistency I believe. So keep posting consistently.
2. Produce ONLY quality content i.e. which gives certain value to the viewers, I'm not talking about video production quality here. If you could pay attention to that as well, it would be too good. But audio should be good.
3. Create good thumbnails to attract your audience. If no one clicks on your thumb, what's the use of having great content.

Try adopting these and see the difference. No need to shift your attention to new channel, focus on the existing one.

Gaming niche is highly competitive. Just find a way to improve content quality.
 
In gaming videos , it can happen. Most of the time subscribers are only interested in such videos so first grow your subs.
 
Thanks to all your response , had a bit of device issue so just today logged in.
 
I suggest you continue this channel and improve the quality of your videos because this is the easiest way to increase the number of views
 
Try a new channel in other niche than gaming, niches like entertainment can see faster growth.

Absolutely the biggest problem is the niche, I've tried a lot of niches and it usually comes down to the niche you're in. Entertainment niches work way better because they're usually on the trending side and you get views and grow faster.

There are merits of entertaintment niche but the pay will be less than tech niche. So calculate all this and then decide.

Entertainment does pay less but works better for faster money as it's a great niche to just get your feet wet in if you're starting out and needing the money. Tech and niches where it can take some time to grow are better for long-term as you'll need extra patience with any higher paying niche.
 
Starting a new channel will not help you, just change your videos, and you will get it. Change niche or maybe do something more fun, find the lasts trends.

Ye, I know this doesn't work for some niches, but simply uploading a variety of popular content helps.

I agree bro, this just doesn't work for some niches. Anybody who is struggling on YouTube should just revert to uploading popular content to get the train rolling.

There's no point in starting a new channel. The algorithms will again have to adjust to your new videos and the new channel. And the previous channel already has some kind of reputation in the YouTube system.
 
You will lose all the audience you have. We recommend that you don't start a new channel, but concentrate on improving your content. Look at your channel from the viewer's eye
