I assumed posting content would automatically bring leads. in reality, engaging with people and building relationships made a much bigger difference.

Same here. Posting helped a little, but most of my leads came from talking to people, staying in touch, and building real connections.

that is how social media works, people don't trust you because of content alone, they want to engage you on a more personal level, and those take time but they pay off big time

In my opinion, content alone isn't enough on LinkedIn. You also need to actively engage with others and build meaningful connections within your professional community to achieve the best results.
 
If posting generic content automatically brought leads, every Chat gpt bot would be a millionaire by now. Real talk, the money is always in the replies and dms. People buy from humans, not from a ghost town timeline. Keep talking to real folks and stop waiting for a miracle
