There’s ongoing debate around posting frequently versus focusing on higher value content.
From your experience, which approach has delivered better results?

A single high-value, link-worthy or highly shareable piece consistently outperforms weeks of low-impact posts. The algorithm now favors content that sparks sustained conversation and saves, which requires depth. I prioritize quality and then atomize that core piece into multiple derivative posts for volume.

To be honest, you have to find a way to do both.

Provide value and post consistently. I'll say value is more important but it is also important to post often so you can grow your brand

There is no exact answer; it depends on the goal. Where you need to publish a lot of content, a strategy of “little but high quality” will not work, and vice versa.

For reels, its good that you post 2-3 times since you can get good exposure. For YouTube shorts, its good to post content that is more targeted and not just a "Paste" upload.

In practice, higher-value content wins long-term, while frequency helps short-term visibility. Creators and brands that post less but deliver clear insight, originality, or usefulness tend to build stronger trust, engagement, and conversion. High frequency works mainly when quality is already strong or the platform rewards volume (e.g., early growth phases). Best-performing approach: consistent posting at a sustainable pace where every piece still provides real value. Quality sets the ceiling; frequency just helps you reach it faster.

Both matter, but higher-value content usually delivers better long-term results. Posting often can help with momentum, but quality tends to drive stronger engagement and retention. Consistency works best when the content is actually worth interacting with
