for them thats having problems with it did you Chmod the below folders to 777:
/common/
/export/

Try that and it should be ok.

Guys, what can i do to get this thing started...i installed it , deleted the install.php, and changed the permissions..But the thing won't do anyhitng at all..I'll give it a keyword..and does nothing..It won't retrieve any results...It just sits blank..Help me guys..plzz...
 
after install
"0: localhostLicense is not found or invalid" appears,what's wrong who can help me with it?thanks rep++++:confused:

I don't quite understand why but I'm encountering the same problems as Babyblackhat. ANybody has a solution for this issue where everything is installed fine but the search doesn't bring any results nor give any errors?

got to hxxp://000web*host*.com create a free hosting account it takes 5min max, comes with mysql database's, after sign up log in create your database, upload the content solution 2 folder, chmod 777 common export and import folders, got to www.whatever.com/contentsolution2/install.php then enter your d/b info and your done. now you should be able to log in.

worked like a dream for me i just hope this will haelp others out with the same problem as me.

No go, installed and logged in fine, even finds results when scraping BUT then it doesnt actually add what it finds...

edit your commom/auth.php file and it will work like a charm

yes it work for me,
i successfully went thru step 1= key in anything for the "code"
enter mysql database name + password

then i log into content solution within my domain

I did not encounter the " license" problem encountered.

I went to the "content" column , choose "article base" to pull in articles

key in your keyword

voila, 10 articles are pulled

however the articles are not very relevant

have to try other features such as markov and rewriter

thanks for those who have tried and gave their feedback in the earlier posts if not i would not have successfully installed :D

I'm having the same problem. It works to the point of searching but the results page shows up blank, no articles and no results from SERPS. Just works with Rss feeds! Anyone know how I can resolve this?
 
google changed the way it shows results - so you have to update parser in CS.
