In my opinion they both needed to be carried out side by side.
Quality content matters a lot even if you post once or twice a week but posting five times a week gives you 10x better results.

you have to combine both quality and quantity. if you are not posting at least two videos a day, you will fall behind. You also need to post more of the same content when one of your videos goes super viral, no matter how niche it is, you will get more views for posting the same type of content
