In 7 hours I think a lot of people who are good at article writing could probably blast out between 15 and 20 500 word articles (giving you between 7500 and 10,000 words). This would be providing you have all the article ideas/titles prepared before hand.

The advantage of this is that you could talk about your product niche and not only generate a good backlink but also be able to 'presell' to people who stumbled upon your web 2.0 / article.

Of course if your no good at article writing or it takes you a long time to produce a single article then Micallefs idea could be very useful.

I can see what you mean. It takes me ages to write real articles, and I can't imagine how some people can do it as fast as you are suggesting.

It's not all about time, it's also about not really having to concentrate on what you're doing and making the work "easier", not just quicker!

Now that is what I call thinking outside of the box. Love the creativity behind this. Very simple to do based on your analysis, this looks like something could easily be outsourced with a native English speaker for cheap.

That or have a tool to automatically import your product/keywords/etc. into the article/content randomly structured and just have your workers uploading content to a specific place to pull from and magic you have all the content you need to dominate a niche.

10,000 words in 7 hours... I can get 1/2 decent content written for $3 per 500 words. So for 10k words, that would cost me $60. That works to about $10 an hour if correlated to the time you have spent on it.

But I make more than that (hope you do to), so does it make sense to do it yourself?, and as apposed to outsourcing, it is not scalable.

Just my 2 cents.

The thing is, content at $3 for 500 words is going to be written by, most likely, someone from india.

Therefore, the range of vocabulary will suffer, as will the quality of the syntax. There will be repetition and mis-spellings etc.

I assume so anyway. If not, PM me the service you use!

We're looking to completely trick Google here - to make it think that we're creating content of the very highest standard so all the potential "boxes" are checked. This will give the content the best chance to rank & be viewed as authoritative in link-giving terms.

If I want to create nonesense, is it not better to just spin the heck out of one article. The approach is too hard for me.

I am now starting to submit well-written but unrelated articles to zines, etc. Only thing connecting it to the keyword is in the anchor (xfactor approach). I don't know how well this will work for SEO (not having related keyword in the articles). Ideas?

The only problem I can see with this is the lack of LSI keywords. Google will not just rank your page well because you contain your keyword X amount of times. The algorithm is also looking for related keywords and long tail phrases that go along with the main keyword. If those aren't found, the page simply won't rank well. What have your experiences been in dealing with this?

Because the tone of the article is still about the keyword, LSI keywords do feature. It's just something you have to be aware of.

Further, the content I create using this technique is mainly for support blogs - to provide a network of context. I tend to write most of my front-facing content myself as it rarely exceeds 1 paragraph in length in my primary niche.

For those that are interested in the content production debate, I have recently trialed a new system which is in keeping with some, if not most, of the original objectives here in terms of the quality and syntactically coherant content.

I have pieced together a PHP script which through adding 100-200 niche related keywords from the G keyword tool produces on topic content at the push of a button. The script makes use of several hundred nouns, adverbs and other sentence structures to produce unique and structurally sound content each time it is refreshed.

Here is an example of what it churns out;

When homeowners insurance quotes flies into a rage, the buy insurance for the cheap house insurance rejoices. On occasions, an open house insurance purchased online boldly avoids contact with the business insurance. This results in a cheap insurance in regard to the buy to let issue along with a tenants rights related to the top home insurance. Whenever a car rental insurance over that of a property and casualty is likely, further talented business liability insurance brainwashes another cheap student insurance related to the business property insurance. Any building insurance can beat a landlord insurance, but it takes a real flats for it to cruelly ignore the cheap insurance online.

Now, you may think this is the rambling of a madman and you would be correct. However, the aim is to provide G with content which it considers related to the niche, unique and sensibly structured. I have worked on the script for several months now to get it to this point and over the last 4 weeks have set up a new domain, installed WP and created a unique PAGE with quality handwritten content. On this page (at the bottom) I have a plugin which places links to all new posts thereby keeping the homepage fresh. The content is drip fed (which ranges between 500-600 words) at a rate of 1,2 or 3 articles per day.

I was unsure how G would react to the content.....

Having had a months worth of data it is clear that G cannot determine that the content is not written by the human hand and considers it unique, quality content. After just 3 days the site was indexed and the fourth day saw the first visitors to the homepage. Visitor numbers have increased stedily since then and I am now ranking for a host of keywords on page one (no backlinking yet).

Now, the interesting part of this exercise is G is indexing all the pages very quickly following publication, but the main bulk of visitors are landing upon the handwritten homepage which is ranking for far more related keywords than I had anticipated. It is my belief that the content contained within the POSTS are reinforcing the homepage considerably. Some of the post pages have also been visited through direct clicks from G but in the main it is the homepage which gains the share of the referrals.

I am very pleased so far with the results and will update further as time progresses to understand what the longer term impacts in the serps are with this type of content.
