I am naturally marketing for a pirated content site, I have been banned from Tiktok and shadowbanned on other platforms like IG, Reddit and FB. Are there any other ways I can naturally market these videos for my site to grow? or should I opt for SEO. If yes for SEO any suggestions. If no, what should I do?

What is your pirated content about? Videos/Movies or Software's?

If you want to promoting pirated content, then social media facebook, tiktok is the best place, Post short videos lots, You can also try Pinterest traffic. If you want to grow your site then SEO is must required. Choose long tail keywords, build backlink regularly via guest post, Engage in forum which is related to your niche.

Social media is naturally the best way to go for that. But as you already know, they will eventually suspend your account. You'd need to have access to multiple accounts in several platforms to keep promoting and replacing the previous accounts with new ones once they are banned

I tried making teaser clips on alternative platforms like Odysee, surprisingly effective for traffic

I tried it several times on tiktok video, but doesn't seem to work

My experience from consuming pirated videos, i saw an anime site it was different from all the other sites they all just put ads from start, and the other sites were slow with buffering and pop ups its annoying for user you know. This new site had no ads for 1 year if was fast and had forum for the community to talk etc. it was very good user experience it blew up it got 10 million views after 6 months no ads, they just asked for donations with banners that's it. later on traffic went up to 100 million then they started to put ads because donations were not enough to keep the site up, 2 year later they had 600 million traffic, then they got hit by big guys, big studios banned their site from loading, you know people just use vpn etc.

They promoted their site from comment sections of other pirated videos sites and anime forums; they got big because they had better user experience then other sites. now all the other anime pirated sites are copying them to bait new users with no ads. Site name for your reference zoro(dot)to its not active now, i think.

Build an email list or Telegram/Discord group.

Use social media and TG another good options for you I think.

If you keep getting banned from socials because of your content, your content is the main limiting factor issue, not the socials. Change your niche completly to something that is socials friendly.

thanks, but does that mean i have to keep creating new accounts?

Unfortunately, promoting a site that hosts pirated content is a direct violation of the Terms of Service for every major social media and search platform. This is the core reason for your bans and shadowbans—their algorithms are specifically designed to detect and remove this material.

Continuing on this path will only lead to more accounts being banned. Platforms use advanced fingerprinting (device, IP, behavioral patterns) to detect repeat offenders, making simple workarounds ineffective.

The only sustainable advice is to consider a complete pivot in your business model. Building a long-term online business is incredibly difficult when the core offering is against the rules of every distribution channel (Social Media, SEO, etc.).

· Pivot to Original Content: Could you create your own original content in a similar niche?
· Pivot to a Compliant Model: Could you shift to being a review site, a news hub, or a community forum? These models are ToS-compliant and can be successfully marketed with SEO and social media strategies.

Focusing on a legitimate business model from the start is the only way to achieve stable, long-term growth without the constant fear of being deplatformed.

I wish you the best of luck in finding a sustainable path forward.

Promoting pirated content comes with high risk — most platforms have strict policies against it, which is why you’re facing bans and shadowbans. SEO won’t help much either if the content violates copyright. Best advice: consider pivoting to legal content if you want long-term, stable growth.

For long-term growth, SEO with consistent, unique content usually works better than relying only on social platforms, since bans and shadowbans can happen anytime

Marketing pirated content will always risk bans, so seo or social media won’t be reliable. The safer path is to focus on legal content if you want long term growth.

pirated niche will keep u banned anywhere mainstream. seo is ur only long game gray hat linkbuilding, cloaked landers, churn n burn domains. socials ain’t safe for it. if u stay in that lane, accept short lifespans + constant rebuilds. safer money in pivot niches.

Honestly, with pirated content, organic social growth is almost impossible. If you want to grow, either pivot to legal content or rely on SEO very carefully, focusing on long-tail keywords.
