ABOUT ME

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty new here, in fact this is the first forum about marketing and making money I've ever posted on. Basically I'm heavily into content locking and using youtube to drive traffic. Anyway I was searching for new tactics and stumbled upon the Snapchat thread which prompted me to join.

So, I've posted a few replies and got a few people interested to learn more or appreciating what I'd written so I thought I'd share a few things that might help a few of you out.

Hopefully what i'm about to share will give a few of you the nudge you need to get started on your own money making journey, so here goes...

SHORT INTRO ABOUT THE BASIC METHOD

Ok, so you've probably read hundreds of threads about combining youtube and cpa and I can tell you now it can be very profitable.

The traffic is free, the traffic is laser targeted and if you create a high quality video and content lock something people really want it can be really profitable.

I'm not going to spoon feed you a whole step by step system here, i'm simply going to give you some hints, tips and pointers that will hopefully spark you into action.

But as you probably already know here's how it goes...

Video about niche -> Link to blog post -> Viewer downloads locked content -> You make money

A LITTLE ABOUT NICHES

So the first thing people tell you is to find a niche, or topic to base your videos and content around and it really is the most important step. Without a niche you are literally stuck at step 1.

What people don't really tell you though is that even though they might not all have the same popularity, niches are literally everywhere and if there is traffic and something you can offer to be downloaded that people want you can make money.

So we all know the popular ones and usually blackhat fake ones that basically scam people by getting them to complete an offer for something they will never get. You know...

  • Paypal money adder
  • Game hack generators
  • Instagram followers
  • etc.
These are all good niches but if you want to make a regular sustainable income that grows month on month then I'd strongly suggest choosing something white hat, legitimate and actually giving people what they want.

Again literally anything can become a niche if there is something to be locked and a user can download something.

Here's a few that might spark your interest and broaden your thinking.

  • Lego model instructions
  • Knitting patterns
  • Simple solutions to common problems (make your own tutorial)
The list is endless. I'll even share one of my personal profitable niches. It's like one of the old classics "watch movies or tv shows online" but rather than send people to download the exact episode or movie they want I show them how to set up something so they can get every single episode and every single movie they can think of.

Basically I have recorded a video of me setting up an android emulator up with an app that lets you watch virtually any movie and any episode of virtually every tv show you can think of.

I don't ever show footage of the show or movie they want, i never face any youtube violations, i have thousands upon thousands of keywords to target and I really provide an excellent tutorial that people love.

FINDING A NEW ANGLE

Ok so you have thought of a niche, just think how you can find a new angle to change that niche so you're not just one of the sheep copying everyone else.

Just like the tv show example above, I could have very easily done what everyone else dose and simply post a link to the actual tv show or movie to download. However what I have done is much more valuable, its different and people get more invested when they know they'll never have to search for anything again and probably get scammed in the process.

How about the game hack niche, sure you could just follow the masses and create a fake generator. Or you could use them to your advantage, rip them to pieces in your video, tell people they are fake and then provide them with the real modded app file.

There are plenty of actual, real working apps floating about even for some of the games that are targeted by fake generators. Give the people what they want, easy, more trust, less reports and more money.

CREATE HIGH QUALITY VIDEOS

The single most important part of this process is the quality of your video. Make it the best you can, explain everything in detail, even that they will be downloading an app or completing a survey to unlock whatever they want.

Here's two examples based around lets say downloading Sims 4 torrent (another profitable personal niche)

1) I create a video that is 2 minutes in length with a still picture of the sims 4 disc case and a robotic voice saying "Click the link below the video to download sims 4 for free" That's all it is, 2 minutes of absolute lazy shit.

2) I create a video that shows everything from start to finish. Here's how it would flow.
  • Step 1, i would download and test a number of sims 4 torrents on my computer until I find one that works perfectly then uninstall it.
  • Step 2, I set up a page on my blog and link the torrent file to my content locker ready to go.
  • Step 3, I start recording my video. I download utorrent explain what its for and install it, I visit the new page on my site and click the download button, the locker pops up, I explain what its for, complete an offer and download the torrent file, i open the torrent file and get it downloading and explain a bit about how it works. I open the finished download folder, install the game and show everything working.
As you can see my video is in depth, high quality and explains every little detail. They see the exact steps from start to finish including the exact page and buttons they will be clicking on. It builds trust and conversions go through the roof.

So don't half arse it, this is whats going to be making you money for months or years to come. A 30 minute no holds barred video is nothing in the grand scheme of things so make them as good as you can.

I'll have to leave it there for now my little one is moaning, I'll be adding some advice about networks, keyword research and some other stuff when I get the chance. Leave a comment if there's anything you'd like me to cover and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks for the explanation. Seems good. Are you doing any YT seo for the videos if there is already compeition in the topic your video is covering?

Great explanation. I feel like because there are so many fake content locking websites, people now don't really trust that. Once they see that you have a content locker they get really suspicious. I am not saying it can't be done, especially the way you explained I think it's pretty good.

Very interesting tutorial, why keep focus on ultra-competitive keywords in game hack niche instead of trying to find new approaches and eventually give something real for the user.

I don't really ever do SEO for YouTube, well other than picking less competitive keywords.

I'm basically a set and forget guy, I'd rather just churn out videos and keep moving.

I very rarely get any taken down because I'm not really showing anything related to copyright or scamming people so I get very few reports

how much do you earn per month from whitehat niches? How many videos?
I was up to about 3k per month but I had a bit of a mental breakdown and stopped working for about 2 years lost my site (expired domain and never paid hosting) and my earnings literally disappeared.

Turned out I had a major hormone imbalance and needed testosterone replacement. But I'm back up to $30 a day now after about 2 months part time work.

My testosterone therapy has given me a new lease of life and I'm driven now so I'll be ramping up big time over the next few months.

Exactly, even

Exactly, even black hat can be turned into a white hat niche.

I mean why go to the bother of setting up a fake generator and scamming when you can sometimes find the actual game with a real modded APK file that actually works and gives your leads what they want.

Yeah, there is so much fake crap it makes people very suspicious.

But, if you are honest, show everything step by step, and I mean everything then you can gain trust and make a good income.

And yes I even mean tell them they will have to complete an offer to get what they want, walk them through how to do it.

"So when you get here you're going to click this green download button. As soon as you click it you'll see a list of offers, click one like this, download the app and your file will automatically unlock.

It takes a lot of time and effort to make these videos and keep downloads checked and links updated, every offer you complete gives me a few cents to help the cost of keeping everything up and running"

Yeah you'll lose a few sceptical people but the ones really interested are left with a very simple choice, follow along with the most in-depth video they'll see or chance one of the robot voice pieces of shit.

You'll get less clicks but higher conversions, plus it also helps the people who have never seen a content locker in their life too.

this is great, i will try it for the TV show niche..
hope it works
Definitely go for it mate, there are thousands of shows and episodes.

Set up bluestacks and install beetv app on it for your tutorial to lock.

Record a video of you searching for the TV show on beetv and show all of the links for the seasons and episodes for your YouTube video

Nice one. Anyway, which video editing software do you use or recommend for a beginner, especially the free one?

Going to apply this approach

Do you have any opinion on using a traditional locker versus something like the fake captcha locker?

Which content locker program you use? Let's say I'm a newbie and have no website, which one I would likely get approved without being interviewed by phone? Thanks.

I use camtasia, I got a cracked version off the torrents when I first started its by far the best.

I now own it though but I'm sure there will be a few cracked ones still knocking about.

Do you buy views or backlinks for the videos?
Nope, I used to when I first started but I was getting fed up of buying views and losing them all.

Now I just find decent low competition keywords and upload and let them rank naturally.

Sometimes I'll post a link in some Facebook groups to the video to give it a few views from real people though just to give it a little kick start.

Sorry I don't quite understand this question buddy.

I personally use CPAgrip and ogads on all of my lockers.

I use thrive content builder to create my pages and make ogads display on mobiles and tablets and CPAgrip on desktop.

I find ogads better for mobile and CPAgrip better for desktop.

My site detects the device and displays either as network automatically.

As for signing up without a phone call I think CPA lead is auto approve but if you set yourself a basic blog up with some posts and a couple of videos you'll likely get accepted at most networks if you list your channel and website during sign up.

Going to apply this approach
Nice, here's a tip if you upload the app files to your server, change the name of it to contain your website name.

So it will have a name like this when you download:

SubwaySurfers-mod.apk

Change it to:

SubwaySurfersYourSite-mod.apk

It will make it look like your app and also stop people searching for and potentially finding the original app file.
