I'm going to start using Youtube + CPA/Content Locking, and I'm wondering which proves better for monetizing? I'm going to use subdomains for one site I own (saves money instead of buying bunches of new domains), and will link my site in the description. My question is, which method should I go for? I guess linking to my site that has a CPA offer is easier, because with content locking you actually have to find useful content to lock (please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm new to content locking). Or can I content lock a CPA offer? That seems like it'd be double the money, but too much for a typical viewer to go through.

If anyone could shed some light on these two methods, that'd be great. Thanks!

I content lock nothing. Just a bunch of empty promises.

"Damnit! I just completed one offer to unlock another >.> well I guess I'm 1/2 way there....."

Hope you content locked the cure for aids!

Finding content to unlock gives the user more drive to complete the offer! But this can only be done properly with certain offers (Incentive). Also, with incentive offers, sometimes telling the user ahead of time, "Look, the content is locked, because blah, blah, blah" may increase your offer completion ratio.

I don't have much experience in CPA/CL but I am attempting to launch a small Content Locking campaign soon.

Lol! Locking real content should be bettah in the long run!

It actually entirely depends on your content/niche. Content locking works when someone is desperate for the content you are locking. CPA offers are a bit hassle to complete.

My suggestion would be to analyze your audience and link them to cpa offers. If you have enough traffic, you'll know in a few days if they are interested. However, people tend to shy away from things as soon as they realize you have some commercial intent behind what you are asking them to do. So, keep it discrete and deft.
