    Hey guys,

Going to start content locking and I'm looking for options here...

What I'm looking for is a content locker script that will lock content after a specified preview time, say 10 secs, and then not unlock until a CPA offer has been completed.

Mostly I find timer based locking scripts all unlock after a given period as well.
Maybe Content Locker Pro v2 does this but there is a cost there.

If there is a free option great, if not what are the better paid ones?

Thing is if you want a content locker that does that you will need to have it postback to your cpa network whenever a cpa offer is completed. Most networks should have an api postback , if you know some php you could easily make a content locker script with post back. The design for a content locker are out there , i think there are some here on bhw, but the post back feature you won't find it here you will have to taylor that to your own cpa networks as they each most likely have different api for postback.

Basically all it is in a nutshell , when an offer is completed the cpa network notifies the php script you have specified when a new offer is completed and the info that follows with it.

    CLP does this with postback.

As far as I'm aware there are no free options (unless you go direct to a content locking network) with postback as it would simply be too much work to code and give away for free.

So depends what you're looking for:

Most control, but most expensive - self hosted option
Least control, but free - network locker

So, you say that CLP v2 will wait a selected amount of time before locking the content, correct?

How does it lock after the timeout period? IP based, cookie based?
Is it bot friendly, as in Java script?

I want the search engine to index the page but users to get content locked after a short preview period. Will CLP do this? can you confirm?

    Yes, correct.

You can either have it unlock on a timer or using postback which requires a tracking pixel to be placed by the network/advertiser.

    Java, yes.

Yep - this works well. Most people use it to lock an individual download link or video rather than a whole page, though.

Sounds pretty much like what I would want.
Are there any trials or working demos to check out?

Is ioncube setup for run-time loading or will I need to set it up in php?
I've not setup ioncube before and I sure do not want to host something like this with some monkeys.
Getting burned by flaky shared hosting cost me way too much money and headache before. Since getting my own cloud I've not looked back. :D
