You know how to throw a content locker at a landing page then, right?
I'd say grab a theme and some good hosting, find a product/service to market, ask if visitors would want a further discount on product/service and grab emails after an ad.
Then ping them every now and then with bigger discounts until you grab them... All can just about be set up using WooCommerce and a good theme.
Throw it at social media and you said you want to try blogging... Boom.
