Content Locking Copyrighted Products

Hi guys,

I have a few domains that are hot EMD's. I don't have the material, but I link to another site where they can get it. It is definitely copyrighted, so it won't fly with regular content locking cpa companies. Do any of you fake referrers for this, or do you use a network that allows copyright leads? Do the risks outweigh the rewards?

@ OP - use Content Lock Pro and blank referrer with incent friendly offers. No need to fake the referrer, really.

What if your AM inquires about all your traffic having their referrals blanked? Hasn't happened to me yet, but was just curious.

There are all kinds of reasons to blank referers; not the least of which is to protect your traffic sources. Seriously for anyone who isn't either blanking or spoofing your referer, you might as well just draw up a mind map with your whole model, and hand it to your AM because that's what you are doing anyway.

If you are doing any significant volume on any particular offer, your AM is going to be a lot more concerned with backend revenue generated for the advertiser, so you need to sprinkle some love in so to speak with real whitehat converting traffic. If that isn't clear to you, then you probably should get out of CPA now. If your traffic which converts on the front-end and generates a commission for you never completes a backend offer thereby generating revenue for the advertisers, then you will lose access to the offer at best, and lose commissions or CPA accounts at worst. So be sure to worry about the backend as soon as you figure out your blanking/spoofing solution.
