    Let's say I wanted to copy a complete HTML page of a blog, format and everything, then add my content locking code to it and host this page on one of my servers.

    It seems whenever I add my content locking HTML code to a page I copy, my locker never seems to pop up, it's as if something inside the HTML of the pages I'm trying to copy are overwriting it, because when I use the same code on a simple HTML site with just an image background and an iframe my content locker works perfectly.

    These are the only forums where a question like this could be answered, hoping for something quick and to the point!

    Yes it is possible to content lock any page, if the content locker isnt popping up it could be a javascript problem..

    I suggest installing firebug and look for any issues.

    Try putting the content locker in it's own page and then putting a php include to that file on the rest of your pages. Might work.

    I have firebug installed, how could I use it to see if it is a javascript problem?

    I am putting this within the <head> tags of the pages i am taking...

    Code:
    <script src="http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://j.maxmind.com/app/country.js"></script>
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" SRC="/gatewaysettings.js"></SCRIPT>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/gatewaystyle.css" />
    And replacing the opening <body> tag with

    Code:
    <body onscroll="scrolltop();">
    <script language="javascript">document.write(ad);</script>
    Do you see any obvious problems here? Like I said, it seems with a simple site I make myself with just a background image + AP div with youtube video the above code brings my locker up.

    Hopefully I can get this working soon because obviously copying other peoples nice layouts ect will save me a bunch of time.

    you use firebug to find the problem #1 by looking in the error console, but #2 by setting a "break point" and stepping through.

    But my guess is that your code is never called.
