I want to monetize my audience by running weekly giveaways in which I would ask people to complete a content locker in order to get an entry. I was thinking locking something like a form could do the job, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to go about it.

Do you have any better ideas?

Yes this does work you can use a form/sign up page every time someone completes the offer it gives them one entry. you can also tell users to share this with friends to get more reach

What exactly did you lock though? And how did you manage the giveaway?
It was just an entry to a giveaway and the winner would get like a $50 Amazon Giftcard. I also remember at the time OGAds had this specific kind of locker that people could earn points when they complete offers and I'd allow them to redeem the points for giftcards.

Is that still a thing?

That locker isn't there anymore
Do you think I could do something similar to what you did without a website then? I'm planning to host the locker on GitHub for the first few days just to test the waters.

OGAds already host their lockers, what's the reason behind hosting it on GitHub?

I recently joined the network, so I didn't know that. Thank you for pointing it out.

I assume you used the redirect feature back then, where did you send the people to?
For anyone interested, I ended up creating a very simple "landing page" with Woobox that asks for some general details and screenshot proof of the content locker completion.
