Content Locker - Question

Hey guys,

Okay so this is going to be an extremely newbie question so forgive me.

So I understand that "Content locker" is basically a process that a person got to "unlock" to get to the page that he wanted to see, when he's "unlocking" to get to the content you are getting paid?

If that so, what is the thing he's unlock with? Is it survey or?

Anyone have an example of a website that uses content locker so I can see exactly what is all about?

Really appreciate your help, I just started reading about CPA a day ago and really excited to start something new, thanks in advance!

The visitor need to complete any action required by advertiser to unlock the content and advertisers pays you for that action. It can be an email submit, lead submit, survey, app download, software download, CC submit. The harder it is to complete the action the more you get paid e.g. getting user to fill a CC is very hard so CPA network can easily pay 20-50$(or even more if you can find a direct advertiser) for it.

Game hacks are really popular, for example, type in clash of clans game hack on google, you'll probably be prompted to enter your username and the amount of gems, wait a bit and you'll get the locker coming up.

Okay so let's say I am offering eBook for specific niche or free, before the person allowed to download I can put a content Locker?

How long usually that content Locker takes to complete? Does the survey/Or whatever takes few minutes or there's something that would take less than few seconds?

Got it! Now let's say I have a FB group with 400k members, If I am making a eBook to my audience and promote it as free I have no doubt that at least 100k would download at the first day, now my questions are :

1) What the hell the adversities are making if someone complete their survey for example? If 100k would "Unlock" that content without buying anything or spend any money, I am still getting paid by the CPA company?

2)If 100k people unlock my content, tier 1 country, how much avg would I make per person? I read somewhere between 1$ or even more which seems too high for me and makes no sense for someone to enter E.mail or complete survey.

if you own the ebook or have permission from whoever wrote it, you are allowed. if not you may run into dmca/angry email from whoever does own it. if the person is really mad they can email your affiliate network and try to get you suspended. or flood with you fake leads. small chance but i've seen it happen.

how long it takes -- depends on the offer. most popular are email submits. 2 pages / under 2 minutes. surveys: most people don't care to leave honest opinions. they want to finish asap to get their reward. for app download its however fast they can click through the prompts to download & install & run the app. if you're really curious click your aff link and go through it so you have a solid idea of what your leads are expected to do. if you can help guide them what to do you'll get better cr%. avg user is pretty dumb and frustrated easy.

1 they're making something on the backend on free offers. do one and see what you end up getting in your email.
2 depends what the avg payout for the offer is. my network was paying $3.20 for usa leads at one point.for email submit.
put it to action you'll answer all questions as you go.
