Content locker and faking referrer.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone who has experience with content lockers and cpa can help me out.

Basically I have a Wordpress blog with CPA redirector 2 plugin installed on it and I want to use this blog as a fake referrer to my own greyhat landing page which has a content locker on it.

The thing is though, the content locker is generated by my affiliation network Ad$c3nd M3dia. Basically I generated a code with them which I have then copied into the body section of my greyhat website. I'm not sure if this will fake my referrer though.

For example, normally you would do this, traffic -> whitehat blog -> cpa offer (referrer = whitehat blog).

I am doing it like this though traffic -> whitehat blog -> to greyhat site with content locker which then forwards visitors to cpa offer.

So what I'm asking is, doing it my way, when someone completes my content locked offer, will my referrer show up as my whitehat blog or will my network be able to tell that the offer was completed on my greyhat site.

Also if they can tell, is there any way to make this work?

your referrer will be whatever site they were last on before it forwards to your cpa offer.. with your current setup.. yes it looks like it will show from your content locked site (not your whitehat site)

I too use CPA-R 2.. in my content locker (CLP) instead of putting the CPA offer link.. I put my whitehat site url with the magic # .. so when they click on an offer it redirects through the whitehat site and then they're taken to the offer. this is what you want.

not sure if this is possible with adscend media though.. you'd need to get content lock pro or another content locker.. someone posted a free content locker on here a few days ago.. can't remember the exact link .. so you'd have to search for it, sorry.

however you wouldn't be able to use the postback url part.. so you'd have to have your content locker unlock after a set amount of time.

technically you could use the postback url if you edited CPA-R 2 to redirect on any extra string from ?mn= .. and made it add the postback url string as your mn= string.. but it'd take someone that definitely knew what they were doing.. so i wouldn't attempt that by yourself.

Yeah, I'm hoping to buy content lock pro eventually, just don't have the money for it at the moment, so I'm looking for a free alternative until I do.

Yeah, I think this a little beyond me until I've learned a bit more so I'll probably just try to find a free content locker that unlocks on a timer, until I can afford cl pro.

i didnt read it all but your referrer will always be the site that called it.

so if you have adscesnd script on your site, you can fake a million time the referrer but guess waht the site you have the script on it calling it and it will be the referrer.
