Content Length Question

Assuming that all content that i'm talking about is quality, would it be better to have:
A) 50 pieces of 500 Word (approx) content
B) 25 pieces of 1,000 word (approx) content
C) Doesn't make any difference

I'm trying to figure out how best to organize my new amazon site. I have two 500 word reviews on a very similar, same brand product. I'm wondering if I should slap them together or not, like, would a 1,000 article be more indexable for multiple keywords than a simple 500 word focussing just one keyword.

Little stuck here.

FIrst thing is keyword you are focusing second is competition then the density which needs a bit more for user experience !
 
To Start : Test with 5 / 5 articles on both 500 words & 1000 words.

Go with Plan A (500 words) article by focusing just one keyword...
If Plan A Fails,
Go with Plan B (1000 words) article by focusing multiple keyword...
 
Better to create one longer form content for same kw, than 2 articles competing each other for the same kw.

Longer content gets more long tail traffic(more words so more chance to rank naturally)

Aside, I mix length throughout out my sites, pillar articles / review articles are longer, also based around a range of very similar keywords (to pick up the long tails) up to say 2k.

500 - 700 for a set of keywords that are related to the site, though you can no longer get a product for, then drop some similar new products in and link to the rest of the site.

And a couple 1-1.5ks for short reviews.

Mix it all up so you don't have forced content, or a short article can't cover everything.

50x500 words is much better IMO, but make sure you have enough KW's so that you're not just wasting content.

I would go with both and mix them up. So A and B.

I wont want my site to have all the article with the same word count. kinda leaves a footprint don't you think?

If you think long content is not better then...idk what to say :) . Over 1 year ago I tested this myself. I put a 500 word article up and let it sit for 2 months, I added 1k words to it and guess what happened? Every single keyword increased in ranking.

I understand where you are coming from about not knowing the context but its clear content length either directly or indirectly helps you rank better.

I'm doing some research on a new blog i'm creating reviewing suppliers (as well as other stuff). I'm lucky enough to have an insight into their affiliate performance with one supplier. Without fail the clear winner is the site with the least number of pages and the most content per page, cleaning up on longtail keywords - massive total on Ahrefs. Each page is 2k+ with not many linking domains. This might not be as true elsewhere but looking at the metrics of the competition will give some clues for you. But it is also sense too, some content it's difficult to write more than 500 words and be good content, if you are writing for an audience.

As far researched in my point of view i will suggest to move with 50*500, with more focused & competitive keywords included in the content.
 
Some of my monetized articles are X thousand, sometimes even XY thousand words long. They rank like a charm. Make out of it what you will.
