Last month i realize something very strange with my main keyword.
G**gl3 decide that an EMD parked domain site without a single word of content (and of course no "quality content") contain ONLY advertisements (not adwords - other provides) worth to be from #10 to #1, depend on the local version of G**gl3 you use! (G**gl3.com - G**gl3.de - G**gl3.fr etc)
The keyword is quite competitive in local search (75K exact searches/month) there are many websites full of content and the parked domain site has (according to SEOmoz) only 3 backlinks and of course PR0 (in the same niche there are webiste with PR3 and 10K backlinks)!
So if you believe that "content is king", maybe you have to think again!

Last month. This EMD site was expired last summer (i lost the auction...) and for more than 10 months was out of first 1000 positions since there is no content at all but advertisements in one single page.How long have you had those 1-10 places ?
I once heard that links were the queen. Not sure if this is true, but the person who said it thought that links would have to be the queen.Who's the queen then?

Really, even if you are not going to get some good traffic to it due to the fact that if you do not spend time on content, your page may stink.Nope, not true. Smart optimization+backlinking is WAY more important.
