Hi
I want to ask, how you find your content for your site, are you focusing on your competitor so what they publish you took that topic and write in your niche ?
How you find on which topic you are going to write your content ?

Content Ideas by Using these Tools SEMrush, Ubersuggest, BuzzSumo...
Create a list of your ideal readers. Usually, that’s a list of your best customers or ideal customers. Follow them, and take note of the content they engage with. See what they share, reply to, etc. Those are topics you can cover with your content.

I prefer to publish trending topics content, I will analyze the news about my niche, and choose the trending topics,

Also, I'll analyze topics related keywords on SEO tools and publish SEO-optimized content.

Finding new topics is very easy if you will use site like explodingtopics.com and also there are many tools available for finding new topics. Parallelly you should analyze your competitor's website, What they are giving new to their viewers and from that what you can add-on to your website.

Easy bro, you can go to Quora to find ideas or put specific keyword on answer the public to get an idea what people looking for

The niche you chose is an important step.
If you chose a niche that covers tending happenings and products that keeps on updating then you have plenty of topics to write content about. It is best to be the first person to blog on that topic than following other pages.

Ahrefs and BuzzSumo are reliable and effective for finding the right keywords and following your competitors' moves.

In my experience, it doesn't matter which content to post, and the most important thing is that it should be interesting to your readers. Even if you write an article comparing two different web hosts, it is important under what sauce you are submitting this article. If you have your own specific writing style and the post is not written in a simple dry language, then readers like it I am sure.

I used to believe in the “build it and they will come” school of content strategy.

I would look at my competitors and rack my brains as to how I could better target the keywords that they are targeting.

And the ideas that I would come up with are just these really weird tangents, and my approaches were really off the beaten path.

Well, sadly, that strategy doesn’t work.

Believe it or not, people are not looking for something revolutionary or groundbreaking.

Instead, they’re looking for something more basic.

They have problems that they need solved and they are more willing to trust people who demonstrate an ability to solve these issues.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that!

So, my strategy now is to find my competitors, run their domains through SEO software tools, figure out the more successful ones, strip out their sitemap.xml, and run each piece of content through SEO tools.

I can see keyword opportunities, but I don’t stop there.

I look for themes and topics.

I look at the target keywords and I ask myself, “What is a person using this keyword truly looking for?”

And based on that information, I would target topics that my competitors are neglecting, overlooking, or badly executing.

These are topics that have at least some traffic.

But, even if they get zero traffic, I still do them anyways because they’re not going to show up for no reason (so as long as they fit the overall theme of the site that I’m building).

So far, it’s worked out!

If you want to succeed in the blogging game, you can’t hit your competitors head-on.

They’ve been in the game far longer and they have a few tricks up their sleeve—that’s suicidal.

Instead, look for a little hanging fruit and improve on what they’re doing.

That’s the bottom line.

Because if you build your website on value and you end up delivering experiences that your competitors either can’t do or won’t do, either way, you come out ahead.

Check the news related to your niche and copy their main things, it always work.

Write about what you love, and you'll be able to develop your interest as time goes on. If you enjoy the main topic enough then going deeper into it for something to write about each time you need to write will be enjoyable - instead of it being a job/chore.

Enjoyment of the main topic should be number 1.
And for the subtopics of that topic, or the content you write for your main-topic-themed blog, how well you will be able to do whilst writing about those things is probably the most important thing for that.

Yes. Not only one competitor, you should follow several on your niche, it’s very easy to see what’s trending. Another technique I don’t personally like but it helps creating broader content is to take a trending topic from a viral news story and adapt it to your blog (tech blogs use this a lot specially with politics and it kind of annoys me).
