Content ideas (niche site)

Hi BlackHat Community,

Just curious if there is a standard content template for niche site articles.

For eg,

1 article: Introduction
1 article: Buying guide
1 article: Comparison chart
5 articles: Review writing
and so on and so forth.

I believe 15 articles is sufficient for a startup site before you proceed with SEO linkbuilding.

Some may not know what content to write if they are lacking of ideas for the remaining few articles.

Any suggestions? Hopefully this thread will help the community too.

You can rank a one post domain with a healthy backlink profile. There is no reason to wait with link building (as long as you're doing it properly). The only reason you'd want more articles is to keep the visitor on your site longer. You don't need a specific template.
 
Niche sites should have definitely what you want, but obviously all should be in the same boat.I request why not make one yourself?
I like the comparison chart for articles with great design.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Having a few article helps make your site look more "legit" so that it can help your site rank in Google. It plays a part on how Google would rank you.

i believe that's the purpose on why some people have quality content articles etc.

Yes sir, totally. For mine, I'd add in informative articles, secondary keyword articles which would be a great help to drive traffic in to the site.

But out of curiosity, do visitors need that much information from a site? Eg. 30 articles OR would they prefer a clean site with key pointers with only 10-15 articles?

Back in the day, I ranked a one page website for an affiliate product. The 'page' was super long though, so you had to scroll, mostly consisting of product information about the brand and customer testimonials. I'm not saying this type of thing would rank very well now, but it worked then. This was not a typical, 'thin affiliate site' and it got good backlinks.

Unfortunately nowadays after several penguin updates, I understand that Google is more strict. Therefore, I'll go for more quality articles. I have regrets about not having interest in Internet marketing earlier. Many have said that it was easy to rank and earn from niche sites. :(
 
There is no standard template for contents.
But if it is as like your eg template, It makes the user to stay long on website, Legit, Higher conversion rate, Low Bounce rate.
 
Just check some authority sites in your niche and you will get ideas for content. You can rank a one page website, but content is really king- Google loves unique content.

Check out what are you competitors doing, then try to make it 10 x better. Just my 2 cents. :angel01:

Off the top of my head, I know of 5 sites that I own that are essentially 1 page sites. I do have an, About Us and Contact Us page. I believe that these sites have less than 700 total word count. They are all ranking in the top 3 of their related niche. The niche(s) is ultra competitive; however, I have a ton of high quality sites pointing to them... probably over 300 links from this niche specific PBN (all sites qualifying for the 20/20/20 metrics).
 
Google "Quality Criteria for Website Excellence" -- a list of things I use for my clients, and also "What are the things that I should include in my product page or sales page of an E-commerce website or product webpage?"

One day, I'll be able to post links and stop telling people to Google things. ::sigh::

Im glad you mentioned this, PBN Builder as I am new to this whole SEO/PR thing myself. I'm still learning about backlinks, tiers, and what and how all of this works. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but should I be creating some Blogger blogs and maybe like a Tumbler blog, and Pintrest boards etc., in which all have links to my main site? I have already done a few article submissions but I'm still trying to understand what the whole link wheel/pyramid/tier structure thing is all about..

You're going to get different opinions everywhere you look, but the sites that I'm referring to have some social signals (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) All the links are coming from very solid sites within my network, and pointing directly to my money site. I do not use buffers, wheels, silos, etc. I may be able to use less links if I utilized those methods, but I have more means than the majority of SEOs. Building a high quality PBN is not an issue for me.
