Content Ideas For Local City IG Account?

Hey.

I am launching a business selling local products (shirts, mugs, hats, etc). I just opened an IG account for it, not selling or having a website yet, so my only plan is to gain local followers by entertaining and interesting content about our city. I have realized it is difficult to come up with content ideas. I have published a couple of memes, information carousels about our dialect (we are very proud of our dialect, and it is very famous). What else could I share?

Some information: we are near the sea and the sailor culture is very strong here, earlier we were a very famous seaport city and many sailors have visited here. We are an ice hockey city and everyone is very crazy about it. We have chosen the most entrepreneur-friendly town in our state.

Any ideas what kind of content I can generate? Are there some similar ig accounts of your city that I can check for example? Thanks

I suggest that you hold a local event with a local flavour to attract more local people to participate and contribute content, this will allow you to discover more local quality content for one thing, and possibly some great talent at the same time
