I started a blog where I post my professional opinions about the industry that I've been working in over 8 years. The problem is that the industry is too vast and I simply can't cover all aspects of it.

I am wondering is there anyway / tool to figure out what people are searching for in my industry and then probably write about it?

Thanks, that was informative. But I refused to believe that for something as basic as finding out the latest question / trends on a certain topic, one has to buy a tool. Been around for a LONG time, not really into blogging / marketing as such. I am an IT guy and the more I look around BHW, the more I feel that people are simply selling stuff to each other within the community lol.

Sorry, that wasn't related to your reply. Just something I have been observing over the years.

Have you tried using answer the public? It's free. You just type a keyword (anything to do with your industry) and you get to see the questions people are asking. :)

I think I am missing something here. Let me give you an example.

One of the tool that we have in our industry is called "Hashicorp nomad". You would find a lot more about it from Google. I want to know what people are asking about it so that I can write detailed and descriptive articles / tutorials. But I fail to see how to extract that information from serpstat. Could you help may be?

Update - I just realized that you were referring to the website "answer the public" and I see what you mean. Still leaving my actual reply there in case you want to answer that.

I'm not sure how you would find info that specific. But if it was me, I would look on forums.

I would suggest Quora or any industry-specific forums. You can also try researching on Google Trends to see what people are searching for.

I have used answer the public and I think that it is a great tool to use. Gives you many ideas of what people are searching for!

Well, I'd suggest you to start from Quora and look for industry-related topics. I bet you'll find some inspiration there.
