Content ID method with original content?

Has anyone here tried outro copyright claiming with original content? I mean the kind of content that's usually made by YouTube partners, but some people are locked out of the partner program forever.

Do distributors still ban music that's claimed in original videos?

By YouTube's standards the "original content" gets to be approved for monetization. Youtubers whose channels haven't been approved - their content can barely qualify for "original" hence the reason why they're locked out of the partner program.

The copyclaim method works best for channels who can generate lots of views in a very short time. Doesn't make much sense to claim them on the original content because they carry a risk of not getting paid and the revenue is lower than in YPP.
