Hi guys, I have recently started the content id method. I have multiple songs in multiple networks such as cdbaby, tunecore, distrokid etc. I generate a lot of views, however I do not see a single ad on any of my videos.
I have tested this already with vpns, different devices etc. My videos simply do not show ads at all, no matter what I do.
All my videos get claimed by me with 1-3 different songs depending on the video. All my content is copyrighted material, however it never gets claimed by anybody else, only my own songs.

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have 20+ channels and a lot of them have over 1k subs and 4000 hour watchtime aswell and are also not showing ads, so this can also not be the reason. The content is mostly educational and documentaries so it is also not nsfw in any way.

Does anybody know the reason why ads are not showing? Even on videos with 50k+ views and channels with high traffic?

Since you haven't mentioned it I'm gonna ask.
Have you applied for YouTube Partner Program?

No, I haven’t. I am not trying to monetize the videos through the actual account but instead through the music distribution platform. It shouldn’t matter if the account is in the YouTube partner programm or not from my understanding

Does copyright claim appear in the videos you're posting?

Yes, it does. And it says I can not monetize the video and the ad revenue from it will go to the owners of the copyrighted material, which should be me. But there are no ads on the video.

Why not check your tunecore dashboard to know if your music is monetized on youtube, sometimes the toggle goes off permanently.

Also, share screenshot of your channel analytics showing watchtime in the past 12 months

Its normal bro. Content ID videos are always lack of ads vs GA.
Many times i dont see ads in my videos also.

I uploaded more than a hundred videos on different channels with different distribution companies. How can it be normal?

It's on and also im using 3 different distribution companies. None of them are showing ads. What does watch time have to do with it? Some accounts have less than an hour and some have 10.000+.

After getting 4000 hours for watch time you need to apply for youtube monetization.
Without apply the ad will not show.
Moreover before publishing ads : the advertiser should need to choice your channel for any ads.
If you copy paste content than your channel will not get favorable by youtube.

Thread is not about youtube monetization. Read from beginning.
I am checking some channel which has 200M views in one year, 6+k videos online, uploading everyday 30 videos. He is stopped to upload 5 days ago. Network - cdbaby.

So, after I get the 4000 watch hours, I must click on the "Apply" button?

Do I need to link adsense too?

How long does it take for the ads to show after I click on the "Apply" button?

Read my questions carefully, i follow the methods and ads show on my videos. You don't understand, i just want to know if there's something i still need to do, just incase something goes wrong.

I already told you the solution to your problem, all you had to do was ask questions.

You are not giving us enough info about your channel and videos, that was why I asked. It is your choice.

Your channels need 4k hours watch time and 1000 subscribers to show ads, even if you do Content ID.
Its different from monetized channels.
Do you have any channel like it, but still doesnt show ads?

That's exactly what i wanted to check on his channel, and that was why i asked him to DM me some of his videos to take a look. His OP says he has 4k hours watch time and 1000 subscribers, so what is the problem?
