Content from where? Amazon maybe?

Hi guys, I'm building a new micro niche site on laptops niche and I was wondering where to get more content because I don't want to make a "10 pages" website.

Is a good idea to copy paste some content from amazon, from here more specific http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-...d_t=101&pf_rd_p=1380421582&pf_rd_i=2956501011 ?

I want to make a new category, called "reviews" and create maybe 20-30 pages with the most selled laptops and amazon was the first thing that comed to my mind when I thinked about the most selled laptops.
I this a good idea? How should I do this ? How many words should I copy ? Anyone did this before?

That method won't get you far my friend. Try to write the reviews, make them unique and of quality.

If your goal is to rank in search engines copied articles won't get you results. You may look to outsource article creation.

Can I use the reviews from amazon and re-write them ? Basically those would be unique articles, right ? As I said I don't want 600+ words articles, I just want to make some decent pages for my users, not to do onpage seo on them.

If you're copying Amazon reviews, the best thing to do is take a good review that's further down the list (i.e. not the top ones, but one that's still good) and then spin it. You might also spin elements from other non-Amazon reviews to throw into the mix as well.

I think parroting Amazon reviews is actually kind of a great idea since nobody's being paid to write them and are less worried about people "stealing" them.

Of course you can take the reviews but make sure you rewrite them in your own words.
It's not that hard or time-consuming really. I mean how much of "creative" thought can you put into a tech review?

Obviously you cannot rewrite the tech specs in your own words

But as far as the other content is concerned - split the paragraphs, add 3-5 of your own sentences, delete some sentences. It's a matter of a 2-minute work per review.
