I wouldn't risk it. Google's pretty good at finding spun content - as I can attest to. Try some place like hirewriters.com to rewrite articles for you.
Or super spin it. Take each sentence, re-write it 3 times and spin those together. Then, inside each sentence, spin the words - at least every 3rd word. Then, always spin the last sentence so that is broken into 2 or 3 sentences. This changes the number of sentences per paragraph. Also, spin in a entire paragraph in two places. It doesn't have to be big, a few sentences only. That changes the number of paragraphs per page. But most important, re-write the title about 5 times and spin every word in every iteration.
Of course, re-writing for uniqueness is best. For loading content on new sites, here's my trick. I post my articles to my new blog network sites by post dating them so it looks like the sites been up longer... The real old articles, I get re-written the cheapest way. No one but Google will ever see them so grammar isn't as important. The later articles (assuming you are loading it with about 20, then them 5 newest should be well written).
