I am stuck at this stage and became a little bit confused.

For example, let's say I have a somekind of dietary supplement vitamin for martial artists. They sign up for my newsletter, what would be your approach to first e-mails to deliver them value and create trust?

What I am considering now is: Should I send e-mails on topic how this vitamin (product) will enhance your training performance or e-mails on topic how to become a better martial artist, like techniques for punching, healthy food and etc.

What I am considering now 2: Should I put full articles on my e-mail or links to my page?

Shame on me for not following my own advice, but in the past and when the internet was pretty darned new, all the newsletters I subscribed to sent out:
  • an introductory email that described what to expect
  • instructions on how to sub/unsub
  • a short FAQ (regarding the newsletter, not the product)
  • links to "must-know" information on the website
  • links to free gifts just for signing up

If you think, "Welcome Kit," then you can imagine what I'm talking about. In regards to full articles vs.. links, most of those newsletters included only a snippet of an article plus its link.
