Niche: Education. Micro-Niche: Computer Programming/Game Design Monetization Strategy: AdSense/Direct Marketing.

    A little about me:

My name is Chris and I'm 19 years of age. (Not that anyone around this forum cares, though). I've been tinkering with computers since the age of seven and started getting into Computer Programming around the age of 8. The more that I ventured into the programming world, the more that I had wanted to venture into Game-Development. I tried out numerous different Game-Engines as-well as attempted to make my own, it's not that any of those projects failed, however it just didn't make sense to spend years writing something that was already out there. I started to do research on the different game engines, exploring and getting involved with the community, and seeing where most people started to create games or applications of their own, after doing that I spent years understanding the API for said Game-Engines and took time to understand the limits and boundaries of it's Scripting, as-well as networking implementations. I've done numerous "Behind-The-Scenes" things that I haven't released; That I haven't told anyone about, which includes writing my own Client API and Networking solution for the Game-Engine allowing an Entity based server that by default supports 2D and 3D space. I feel like this will be a huge selling point of the website, but that's enough about me.. Lets talk about the JV.

    What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a web-developer that can create a nice, clean, and easy-to-use website for our members. This website will feature a few things, the key features however being the following.

    • [*=1]Index for tutorials and informational links.
      [*=1]Blog for Game-Development information.
      [*=1]Blog for the "Indie-Server" development.
[*=1]Forum for our community. (Don't worry, I'll manage this.. You're job is to make this look nice)
[*=1]A "Store" with an option to unlock single downloads, multiple downloads, or use a Content Locker to gain access to the download.

    What I can do:

I have plenty of experience with forums, so setting this up won't be your responsibility, however setting the blogs up would be something that I COULD do, but would probably be better if YOU did it. I'll take care of managing the comments on everything so you won't have to worry about any moderation. You're pretty much just creating the template.

    What's in it for you
    :

That's for you to decide. I'm offering 30% revenue share. I feel like this is fair, considering I'm only asking for a template to be creating whilst I create all of the content and do all of the website management. If you would like to take care of the SEO (Using Whitehat methods) then I will be glad to boost this up to 50%, however as it stands 30% is what I'm offering for the template setup. This will be my first Joint-Venture so I don't know how exactly sharing the income information will work, however my current plan for this will be mentioned below, if you have any other recommendations, please feel free to explain them to me and if they sound viable I will be sure to implement said method.

    What's in it for me:

Well, I mean obviously there's going to be income involved.. (I would hope anyway), but that's not really the point. Considering I'm attempting to pursue a career which pertains to Software Engineering this website is also going to be like a portfolio. So, you can Guarantee that the content provided on the website is going to be top-notch.

Why not just buy some pre-made templates then code the functions in let's say, PHP? There is a lot of very good template in themeforest (xHTML5 / wordpress)

That wouldn't be a problem if I had the funds to do so.
