Content Bombing

    So I've read plenty saying that Google loves sites with regularly updated content and the general consensus is 3-5 articles per day is a very healthy amount to update with, with of course uniques outranking duplicates in the vast majority of cases.

    However, say if you were to invest in a site which regularly posted about 30 articles per day, would this show a dramatic or an exponentially lowering advantage over the competitors, assuming all content both by the proposed site and the "competitor" site are unique.

    More to the point: Is too much unique content bad?
