Hi,

So I'm well acquainted with the rules of BHW.

I just saw a few HAF threads where people are leaving their contact details for skype. If someone (non Jr.Vip) were to contact them and sell them something, would it be against the rules and would lead to a ban? I know if shit hits the fan, BHW moderators will not step in and moderate the situation, but wondering.

Regards,

Correct, it would be against the rules selling in response to a HAF thread or a WTB thread, regardless of where you initiate your sales pitch. Also, for that reason, brokering of services relating to those threads should be done on the forum via PM.

Great. Thanks for the quick response! :)

Another questions, if for example, I am selling a link building package as a response to HAF/WTB and during the conversation the buyer asks for additional services like On-Page SEO, etc., would that still fall under BHW Moderation if a problem arises? Or should it remain to the things/services advertised publically.

I'm responding to this since it never received a closure notice back when it was posted.

@davids355 answered the original question in his post above.

Since you didn't get an answer to the last question, I'll answer it now.

As long as you weren't upselling at any point and the buyer just asked for your other services, it isn't an issue. The main point of the rule is to prevent people from advertising their own services via the conversations feature (i.e., "Hey buddy, if you like my links, you'll love my on-page SEO service!").
