Contabo dedicated server vs OVHcloud dedicated server ?

Hey guys
What's your experience with both providers? Not VPS.
Dedicated servers only.

I would like to know what you guys experienced in terms of the dedicated server's provisioning time, uptime, server specs, blackhat friendliness, etc.

Ovh, contabo will ban you because of fake abuse report. Ovh network is better.

If you look for servers in EU hetzner is good&cheap option.

Just noticed you need "blackhat friendliness".
Dependens what you actually plan to do. Blackhat != Blackhat
Contabo for sure is bad option for anything shady.

Definitely Contabo. OVH cloud write off money from the linked payment method without explanation. They also block ports, for example openvpn
 
Had 2 dedicated servers with OVH, never had any problem with them.

Maybe I was unlucky but they charged extra 2 amounts $11, $27.30 from my paypal account even though I only bought one server for $11.
I opened a dispute and am waiting for a response.
Also, they block openvpn ports. I struggled with the server settings all day until I found out from support that they block VPN. This is not written anywhere on the site.
My opinion: OVHcloud scam and fullsh*t

Ordered cheap server from ovhcloud them for $11 .

As soon as I connected the payment method, they wrote off money from my account for servers that I did not use.
I know for sure that they are not playing fair. ovh make money by having access to linked PayPal accounts, and this is true .

I am responsible for my words.

Do they have any clauses related to the bandwidth you use? Maybe they charge you extra for bandwidth?

this is unlimited bandwidth tariff.
they wrote off for some old servers that I ordered a year ago but didn't renew because I didn't use them.
they're just committing petty fraud.
I wrote to support but they refuse to return the payment.
at the same time I returned the payment($99.99) for vnp, which I did not use but there was a write-off.
vpn ipvanish are great.

OVH have cutting edge GPU training apis that you can connect to your site, and LLM GPU instance.

I don't think so, i'm only just getting ready to launch via their ai API services in a few months, so I'm not entirely sure, I just understand why ovh is something that scrapes my sites now, as they have a web scraper API too! lol I didn't know such things existed, they are super cheap, compared to owning the hardware obviously, as you don't see that part of it, they do the hard work. Ping me next year, to see how I'm getting on if you want, as my first project using them for GPU ai stuff won't be till December. And I have 2 projects that will take a few months, so I'll know for sure probably come feb/mar. Thats an eternity away, but anyway! :D
