Consumption of proxy navigating on G

Hello,

I'm "new" using proxys into Google, basically I bought a bot to increase CTR on Google faking manuall actions.
The thing is that the proxy is consuming like 15MB per visit or something like that.

Basically, bot go into Google, search for a keyword, clicks on a site and it navigates a bit into the site. Site didn't load lot of things as I've blocked to load images, videos, scripts....
I tried 2 different proxy providers cause I thought it was a problem with the first one, but nothing, 1.5GB for 100 visits.

¿Is that normal? ¿Did Google consume that much? Seems like so so so much.

And if so, any idea of any other kind of proxys to use? I'm using residential rotating proxys but I pretend to add more sites and I will be spending a lot that way.

Yeah 15MB per visit without media is crazy. I'd be inclined to think the proxy service is overcharging you massively. I've seen rotating resi proxy providers do the same myself. Unless the bot is misbehaving somehow. Are you seeing the visits in your access_log?

I can't recommend a resi proxy provider, but have a trawl through the proxies section of the BHW marketplace and give some of the offers a try. However, I would recommend that you start downloading scripts too, otherwise any Google analytics code on the pages won't register any traffic.

I don't know, I've talked with the bot support and they said it's normal because of serps data. I've checked with "network" and the most shitty keyword is 2MB, plus loading the site, loading google first time, if it do clicks in the site, if it goes to second page...
Maybe 15MB is a lot, but yeah, at least 5MB can be legit.

I would try unmetered proxys then, I think it should be the best, hope it has the same quality with that.

Thats where bandwidth is used mate

Just checked myself. One visit to google.com + typing in keyword and scrolling to the bottom of page used 5 MB of data according to vnstat (linux tool).
Google triggers itself tons of JS requests that use shitload of bandwidth. They to this to fingerprint you + do God knows what lol.

Download burp proxy suite and check yourself what happens when you visit google.com and perform just one search - you wont get exact data estimates from this, but you will get some idea what happens uder the hood.

I think it’s the background requests adding up. Google’s super heavy, and resi rotations burn data fast. Have you tried ISP proxies?

I gonna try with unnmetered, with this it's impossible I would burn tons of GB daily.

15MB/visit isn’t unheard of for Google — try Bright Data’s residential with session sticky IPs + header/script control (or a datacenter+residential hybrid to cut costs)
