Consultant or Lead Gen.. which you prefer?

    As the title above.. which you guys prefer?
    Being a consultant.. Or being an agent and get paid for commission?

    Consultant
    =========
    - Hard to convince prospect to buy from you
    - Get advance payment
    - Need to involve client when executing a plan

    Lead Gen
    =========
    - Easy to apply to become agent
    - Need to use own money for marketing
    - More control of the business

    Both are great, but done properly lead gen is far more profitable due to more funnels.

    I prefer the consultant angle. Despite the advantages of lead generation, I like to get paid up front to reduce risk on my end, although I do lead generation as well.
